Welcome to our community! South Philly is celebrated for its incredible food, rich culture, classic row-home blocks, and, most importantly—the fierce loyalty of the people who live here.

While our neighborhoods are vibrant, navigating city programs, local regulations, and daily block-level challenges can sometimes feel like a daunting task. That is exactly why we created South Philly Liberty-GROWING, a grassroots program built on a foundational premise: Philadelphians helping Philadelphians.
We are a network of your neighbors dedicated to cutting through the red tape. Our goal is to connect you with the resources, knowledge, and hands-on support you need to thrive.
How We Can Support You

We focus our efforts on four key pillars designed to strengthen our community from the ground up:

• Business Guidance: Whether you are launching a new corner storefront or expanding your avenue business, we help you master the paperwork, local regulations, and city licensing processes. Conducted by Nayips Constantini

• Tax Navigation: City taxes can be confusing, but you might qualify for savings. We help neighbors apply for property tax relief programs, senior citizen reductions, and homestead exemptions. Conducted by Nayips Constantini

• Neighborhood Issues: From reporting illegal dumping and fixing broken streetlights to coordinating with city agencies, we help you get neighborhood problems resolved quickly. Conducted by Patrick L.

• Gardening & Green Spaces: We believe in community-driven beautification. Join us as we plant urban gardens, care for neighborhood trees, and build greener, healthier blocks together. Conducted by Jeff Burger.

Import & Supply Chain Solutions: Looking to bring in global goods, raw materials, or specialized products? We connect you with local experts who can guide you through U.S. Customs, tariff codes, and shipping logistics to prevent costly port delays. Conducted by Armand Noor.

Neighborhood Advocacy: Have a problem with illegal dumping, broken streetlights, or a dangerous intersection? We help neighbors unite to escalate block-level issues directly to city agencies and local representatives to get fast results. Conducted By Aaron Humphrey
